MSC Cruises is expanding the number of included dining choices on its newest flagship, MSC World Asia, with more complimentary and grab-and-go options than it has offered before. The ship is scheduled to begin seven-night Mediterranean cruises on Dec. 4, 2026, with more than 40 bars, lounges and restaurants onboard.

For cruisers, the biggest change is the range of casual food options that will be available without requiring a sit-down meal. Alongside the ship’s main dining rooms and buffets, MSC World Asia will introduce new poolside, street-food and grab-and-go concepts designed for guests who want something quick between activities.

Aqua Food Market brings five food stalls to the pool deck

One of the biggest additions is Aqua Food Market, a new fast-casual venue on the Aqua Deck. The poolside concept will include five separate food stalls offering a variety of global cuisines.

Guests will be able to customize freshly prepared dishes and either eat at the venue or take their food back toward the pool area. MSC says planned choices include salads, loaded fries, sandwiches, pita breads and desserts.

The concept is inspired by European coastal destinations and is designed to give guests another casual alternative to the traditional buffet or main dining room.

More options for quick meals and snacks

MSC World Asia will also add several complimentary venues aimed specifically at guests looking for a fast meal or snack.

Buffet Grab & Go will be located near the pool on the Aqua Deck and offer ready-to-go items for passengers moving between onboard activities.

A new Pan-Asian On-the-Go window will serve complimentary street-food-style items during the day, including crispy seafood balls and bao buns. The window is part of a broader Pan-Asian Street Food concept that will also include a specialty restaurant and bar.

Elsewhere on the ship, Promenade Bites in the Promenade district will serve complimentary savory and sweet snacks. Families spending time in the Family Aventura district will be able to stop at The Harbour Bar & Bites for grab-and-go savory snacks, sweet treats and cold drinks.

Pizza & Burger, located near Luna Park in the World Galleria, will provide pizza, burgers and quick snacks around the clock.

MSC World Asia will have 20 dining venues

The complimentary choices are part of a larger dining program that will include 20 venues across the ship.

MSC says the lineup will consist of five main dining restaurants, including the exclusive MSC Yacht Club restaurant, along with six specialty concepts, two casual buffets and seven fast-casual or on-the-go options.

That mix means guests will have choices ranging from traditional dining-room meals to buffet service, specialty restaurants and quick-service venues positioned around different areas of the ship.

Why the expanded complimentary lineup matters

The new dining setup gives passengers more flexibility in how they plan meals around their day onboard. Families using the pool or Family Aventura areas will have food nearby, while guests moving between activities can choose grab-and-go options instead of heading to a larger restaurant or buffet.

The Pan-Asian On-the-Go concept also adds another included international dining choice, while Aqua Food Market gives guests several customizable options in a single poolside venue.

For cruisers who prefer a more traditional meal, MSC World Asia will still offer multiple main restaurants and buffets alongside its specialty dining venues.

MSC World Asia begins sailing Dec. 4

MSC World Asia is scheduled to enter service on Dec. 4, 2026, with seven-night Mediterranean itineraries.

The announced destinations include Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta.

The new flagship is part of MSC Cruises’ World Class and will feature design elements inspired by Asian culture, art and landscapes while reflecting the cruise line’s international character.

When the ship begins sailing, the expanded complimentary dining lineup will give guests more ways to fit meals and snacks into their day, whether they want a full restaurant experience, a buffet meal, poolside food or something they can quickly take with them.
