Regent Reveals New Dining for Seven Seas Prestige

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is giving travelers a closer look at the dining experience aboard Seven Seas Prestige, introducing a new al fresco restaurant, revealing the menu for Mediterranean-inspired Azure and refreshing several dishes at its signature Prime 7 steakhouse.

The additions bring the new ship to 11 dining experiences, including seven specialty restaurants. Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled to debut in December 2026 as Regent’s first new ship class in more than a decade.

For travelers considering the new ship, the latest announcement adds considerably more detail about what dining will look like onboard, from casual daytime sushi and yakitori overlooking the ocean to shareable Mediterranean dishes and updated steakhouse classics.

Solmar Terrace Adds Al Fresco Daytime Dining

The newest venue is Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose, an outdoor restaurant exclusive to Seven Seas Prestige. Located aft of Compass Rose on Deck 5, Solmar Terrace will serve guests from noon until 6 p.m.

The restaurant is designed as a relaxed daytime option with ocean views and a menu that moves across several international cuisines rather than focusing on a single region.

Guests can choose from mezze-style appetizers, tapas and sushi, including gazpacho and a rotating sushi roll of the day. A yakitori grill menu adds another dimension to the experience.

Asian-inspired small plates include Korean beef short rib, chicken or shrimp satay, teriyaki pork belly, king oyster mushroom and Japanese broiled salmon.

Dessert options highlighted by Regent include tres leches cake and crema Catalana.

For cruisers who prefer a less formal meal during the day, Solmar Terrace adds another option between the ship’s existing restaurants and casual venues while providing an outdoor setting overlooking the ocean.

Azure Brings Mediterranean Flavors to Seven Seas Prestige

Solmar Terrace joins Azure as one of two new culinary venues being introduced with the new Regent ship class.

Azure is inspired by the flavors, spices and culinary traditions of the Mediterranean, drawing influences from Europe, Africa and Asia. The menu is designed around mezze-style small plates intended for sharing.

Regent’s first look at the Azure menu includes several dishes:

  • Miso-Roasted Eggplant.
  • Croquetas di Carne served with Piquillo Peppers.
  • Gambas al Ajillo with chili, garlic and olive oil.
  • Chilled and Spiced Watermelon-Feta Salad.
  • Lobster Orzo Saganaki.
  • Duck Leg Confit.

The sharing format gives guests the opportunity to order several dishes and experience different flavors during one meal rather than following a traditional appetizer-and-entree format.

Prime 7 Gets a Refreshed Menu

Regent is also updating Prime 7, its established specialty steakhouse. The culinary team has reworked several classic recipes, drawing inspiration from steakhouses including Daniel’s in Miami.

Among the newly inspired dishes are House-Smoked and Honey-Roasted Baby Back Ribs with steakhouse barbecue sauce, Lobster Thermidor and Halibut Fish and Chips served with hot yuzu aioli and steak fries.

Other additions include Roasted Chicken Supreme with spinach-porcini stuffing, Hashbrown Tempura with lime-chili salt and Truffle Mac and Cheese.

Desserts are also receiving attention. Regent highlights Lemon Meringue Pie, a 14-layer chocolate mousse cake with drunken cherries called The Ultimate Chocolate Dessert, and a Double Chocolate Brownie served with tres leches ice cream.

The refreshed Prime 7 recipes will debut aboard Seven Seas Prestige before being introduced across Regent’s fleet at a later date.

Seven Seas Prestige Will Have 11 Dining Experiences

The three dining announcements fit into a much broader culinary lineup aboard Seven Seas Prestige.

Along with Azure and Solmar Terrace, guests will have access to Regent favorites including Compass Rose, Prime 7, Pacific Rim, Chartreuse, Sette Mari at La Veranda and La Veranda.

More casual choices include Pool Grill and Coffee Connection, while 24-hour in-suite dining gives travelers the option of eating privately in their accommodations.

Regent President Wesley D’Silva said the two new venues are intended to add more choice, variety and flexibility to the cruise line’s all-inclusive dining experience as Seven Seas Prestige introduces the company’s first new ship class in more than a decade.

Seven Seas Prestige Introduces a New Regent Ship Class

Seven Seas Prestige will be 40% larger than previous Regent ships while accommodating only 10% more guests. The 76,550-gross-ton ship will have 411 suites and 630 crew members.

Every suite will include a balcony, with 12 accommodation categories and four new suite types. The lineup includes the Skyview Regent Suite, which Regent describes as the largest all-inclusive ultra-luxury cruise ship suite in history.

New public spaces include the light-filled Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar.

Seven Seas Prestige Debuts in December 2026

Seven Seas Prestige will begin its inaugural season on December 13, 2026, with a 14-night transatlantic voyage from Barcelona to Miami.

The inaugural season includes 13 voyages exploring the Caribbean and Europe, along with the Panama Canal. Embarkation ports include Miami, Los Angeles and New York.

Later sailings will explore the Iberian Peninsula and the coast of France, with multiple overnight stays. Regent says individual voyages can include as many as 97 included shore excursions, with ports highlighted in the season including St. Lucia, Cartagena and Bordeaux.

With the addition of Solmar Terrace, the first detailed look at Azure and a refreshed Prime 7 menu, travelers now have a clearer picture of one of the biggest parts of the Seven Seas Prestige experience. Regent’s newest ship will combine familiar restaurants with several new dining concepts when its first guests board in December.
