Royal Caribbean is giving cruisers more ways to explore Asia Pacific with Voyager of the Seas, which will sail a new season of 2- to 15-night vacations from Brisbane, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong between October 2027 and April 2028.
The expanded deployment brings together short getaways and longer, destination-focused cruises visiting Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, China, Japan and South Korea. The season is also timed around major holiday periods, including Christmas and Chinese New Year, giving travelers several opportunities to combine a cruise with a special celebration.
Voyager of the Seas Will Move Through Multiple Homeports
Rather than remaining in one region throughout the season, Voyager of the Seas will follow a multi-city rotation. The ship will begin with cruises from Brisbane and Sydney before heading north to Singapore and later continuing to Hong Kong.
Royal Caribbean describes the deployment as part of its biggest Asia Pacific season yet. The broader lineup will also include Navigator of the Seas sailing year-round from Singapore beginning in October 2026, newly amplified Ovation of the Seas from Brisbane and Anthem of the Seas from Sydney.
Spectrum of the Seas will add another option, sailing from Shanghai and Hong Kong to destinations across Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.
Voyager’s Australia and New Zealand Cruises
Voyager of the Seas will begin its Asia Pacific season in Australia. From October through December 2027, cruises from Brisbane will range from two to seven nights.
South Pacific itineraries will visit destinations including Mystery Island and Port Vila, along with Luganville in Vanuatu and Noumea in New Caledonia. After the Brisbane program, the ship will make a two-night coastal repositioning sailing to Sydney.
From Sydney, one of the standout options will be a new 10-night Christmas cruise through New Zealand. The itinerary includes Picton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Milford Sound, giving travelers a longer holiday voyage centered on New Zealand’s landscapes and destinations.
New Singapore and Hong Kong Itineraries
Once Voyager reaches Singapore, travelers can choose a five-night sailing to Hong Kong with a stop in Ho Chi Minh City at Phuoc An, Vietnam. The itinerary combines time in two major Asian cities with an opportunity to experience Vietnam along the way.
From Hong Kong, the ship will offer several shorter cruises designed around destinations in Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam. Chinese New Year sailings of four and five nights will visit Ishigaki and Okinawa in Japan, with select itineraries featuring an overnight stay in Okinawa.
Other Hong Kong departures will visit Taipei through the port of Keelung in Taiwan, as well as Hue and Danang through the port of Chan May in Vietnam.
What Cruisers Can Do on Voyager of the Seas
The Asia Pacific itineraries are only part of the appeal. Royal Caribbean is also highlighting the range of activities available aboard Voyager of the Seas, giving travelers plenty to do between ports.
Active cruisers can take on the FlowRider surf simulator, The Perfect Storm waterslides and the rock-climbing wall. Studio B offers ice-skating, while Voyager Dunes provides a nine-hole mini-golf course. Families and friends can also compete in Laser Tag: Battle for Planet Z.
Children have dedicated spaces and activities through Adventure Ocean, while teenagers have the Living Room teen space.
Dining Options on Voyager
Dining choices include Giovanni’s Table for Italian family-style dishes, Chops Grille for hand-cut steaks and Izumi for sushi and Japanese-inspired flavors. Travelers looking for more casual options can visit Windjammer or Café Promenade.
That mix of onboard activities, family spaces and dining options gives the ship appeal for different types of travelers, whether the priority is exploring ports, keeping children entertained or simply having choices during sea days.
Voyager of the Seas Asia Pacific Cruises Are Now on Sale
Royal Caribbean opened bookings for the Voyager of the Seas Asia Pacific season on August 26, 2026. Cruises are available from the Brisbane, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong homeports.
For travelers considering an Asia Pacific cruise, the new deployment creates flexibility that is not always available on longer international itineraries. Short two- to five-night options can provide a taste of the region, while longer sailings offer more time to explore destinations across Australia and New Zealand.
With Voyager moving between several major homeports during the season, cruisers also have multiple starting points to consider when planning an Asia Pacific vacation.
