Royal Caribbean is expanding its Asia Pacific cruise lineup with Voyager of the Seas, giving travelers more ways to explore Australia, New Zealand and destinations across Asia between October 2027 and April 2028. The ship will offer 2- to 15-night vacations from Brisbane, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong.
The new season combines short getaways with longer, destination-rich itineraries and includes sailings timed around Christmas and Chinese New Year. For cruisers interested in exploring Asia Pacific without committing to one long voyage, the variety of departure cities and cruise lengths provides several different ways to experience the region.
Voyager of the Seas Will Sail a Multi-City Asia Pacific Season
Voyager of the Seas will begin the season in Australia before heading north to Singapore and later homeporting in Hong Kong. Royal Caribbean says the deployment is part of its biggest Asia Pacific season yet.
The broader regional lineup will also include Navigator of the Seas sailing year-round from Singapore beginning in October 2026, newly amplified Ovation of the Seas from Brisbane and Anthem of the Seas from Sydney. Spectrum of the Seas will sail from Shanghai and Hong Kong to destinations in Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.
That means travelers will have multiple Royal Caribbean ships and departure points to consider when planning an Asia Pacific vacation during this period.
Voyager of the Seas Cruises From Brisbane
From October through December 2027, Voyager of the Seas will offer 2- to 7-night cruises from Brisbane. The itineraries include South Pacific destinations such as Mystery Island, Port Vila, Luganville in Vanuatu and Noumea in New Caledonia.
After its Brisbane sailings, Voyager will make a 2-night coastal repositioning cruise to Sydney, setting up the next part of its seasonal deployment.
A New 10-Night Christmas Cruise From Sydney
One of the longer options from Australia will be a new 10-night Christmas sailing from Sydney to New Zealand. The itinerary includes Picton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Milford Sound.
For travelers looking for a holiday cruise with more time in the destination, the New Zealand sailing offers a longer itinerary than Voyager’s shorter Australian and South Pacific getaways.
Singapore to Hong Kong in Five Nights
Voyager will also connect Singapore and Hong Kong with a 5-night cruise that visits Ho Chi Minh City through Phuoc An, Vietnam.
The itinerary gives travelers an opportunity to combine time in two major Asian cities with a port visit in Vietnam, making it one of the ship’s shorter options for exploring multiple destinations.
Chinese New Year Cruises From Hong Kong
Once Voyager of the Seas reaches Hong Kong, the ship will offer 4- and 5-night Chinese New Year getaways to Ishigaki and Okinawa in Japan.
Select sailings will include an overnight stay in Okinawa, giving guests additional time at the destination. Royal Caribbean also plans Hong Kong departures visiting Taipei through Keelung, Taiwan, as well as Hue and Danang through Chan May, Vietnam.
These shorter Hong Kong itineraries could appeal to travelers who want to add a cruise to a broader Asia trip or prefer a shorter introduction to cruising in the region.
What Is There to Do on Voyager of the Seas?
Voyager of the Seas will offer a mix of activities aimed at different age groups between its port visits. Thrill-seeking guests can use the FlowRider surf simulator, ride The Perfect Storm waterslides, tackle the rock-climbing wall or go ice-skating at Studio B.
Families and friends can play a round of nine-hole mini golf at Voyager Dunes or compete in Laser Tag: Battle for Planet Z. Younger children can take part in Adventure Ocean activities, while teens have their own Living Room space.
Dining Choices
Royal Caribbean is also highlighting several dining options aboard Voyager of the Seas. Giovanni’s Table offers Italian family-style dining, Chops Grille serves hand-cut steaks and Izumi features sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes. More casual choices include Windjammer and Café Promenade.
The combination gives travelers plenty of ways to spend time onboard between destinations, whether they are looking for active experiences, family activities, dining or time to relax.
When Do Voyager of the Seas Asia Pacific Cruises Go on Sale?
Royal Caribbean opened bookings for the Voyager of the Seas Asia Pacific season on August 26, 2026. The cruises are available from Brisbane, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong.
With itineraries ranging from two nights to 15 nights, the 2027-28 deployment gives cruisers considerable flexibility in how they experience the region. Shorter sailings can provide a quick Asia Pacific or South Pacific escape, while longer itineraries offer more time to explore destinations across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
